Práticas de ensino em ciências e biologia: um estudo com docentes das escolas estaduais de Lagarto/Sergipe

This article aims to identify the meanings and the peculiarities of the teaching practices of Biological Sciences teachers of the state schools in Lagarto/Sergipe, in the first semester of 2015; describe the theoretical and methodological relations of the teaching practice of these professionals, as well as their implications for student learning. It is a qualitative research developed from the dialectical method. The collected data through questionnaire was worked in the light of textual discursive analysis. This type of analysis represents a set of techniques that provides the communications appreciation with the objective of get the qualitative indicators that allow to describe the theoretical and methodological relations of the teacher’s work and learning. Moreover, the research does an approach about the theoretical and methodological assumptions that guide the reflexive do of the teachers researched. It was concluded, thereby, that the teachers value the interactive teaching practices, adopting the principle of theory and later practice. It highlighted the need of Sciences’ and Computer’s laboratories in order to contribute to student learning. Finally, the theoretical and methodological conceptions disagreed of some practices used in teaching practice.
