Resumo: | The comprehension of childhood, memory and body as a way of expressing oneself is extremely important for teacher education, because from this understanding future teachers will be able to work under the vision of such themes for the development of their classes. This research aimed to analyze the narratives about the body, memory and childhood of the students of the Pedagogy course at the Federal University of Sergipe in Itabaiana, through the Workshop “Body and Memory: Their Manifestations in Teacher Education”. The research was based on Kohan (2005), to discuss about childhood, Zanella (2013), to approach the body and Halbwachs (2003) to understand memory and collective memory. The methodology of this research is qualitative, explanatory, bibliographical and experimental. Data collection was performed in the light of the narratives recorded during the workshop, as well as from the productions made by the students. This research made it possible to observe and understand that students express marks of their childhood through their bodies, and a teacher education focused on a sensitive look that expands the potentialities of the body may reverberate in the construction of a subject in the process of freedom. |

A presente pesquisa objetivou analisar as narrativas sobre o corpo, a memória e a infância das (os) discentes do curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Federal de Sergipe em Itabaiana, através da Oficina “Corpo e Memória: Suas Manifestações na Formação Docente”. A pesquisa fundamentou-se em Kohan (2005), para discutir acerca de infância, Zanella (2013), para abordar o corpo e Halbwachs (2003) para compreender memória e memória coletiva. A metodologia desta pesquisa é de cunho qualitativo, explicativo, bibliográfico e experimental. A coleta de dados foi realizada à luz das narrativas gravadas durante a oficina, bem como a partir das produções feitas pelas discentes.
