Resumo: Earthquakes occur in the Brazilian Territory contrary to what most of the population believes, and these occur in large number in the Northeast region of the country. The state of Sergipe in its history records earthquakes in 29 municipalities, among them the municipality of Siriri, the target of this study. The municipality of Siriri is located in the central region of the state, bordering other municipalities that concentrate most of the state's earthquakes. Several authors identify 2 trends of NW-SE and NE-SW guidelines for the Brazilian Northeast region and associate them with possible reactivations of a set of faults originating from the Brasiliana orogenesis. The objective of this work is to correlate the preferential directions of observed map and field structures with slope and urban occupation to determine the sites most susceptible to neotectonic risk using the stratigraphic unit of the Barreiras Group as a temporal marker for the study of neotectonism. For the accomplishment of this work, fieldwork was carried out to identify the preferred directions, obtaining preferential direction of manual and automatic guidelines with the help of software Qgis v2.18 and Geomática v.12 Trial, generation of declivity map and urban zoning with visualization of satellite images, thus interpolating a mesh of points with a risk value obtained through the equation proposed in this work, on a scale of 1: 100,000. The combination of this information resulted in a neotectonic risk susceptibility map for the municipality of Siriri, which presents a very low degree of hazzard in the peripheral areas and very high to extremely high hazzard in the central areas of the municipality. These data are intended to assist the public power and the State Civil Defense in the areas most susceptible to seismic hazzard and be used as an initial work of risk containment.
