Organizations are experiencing a period of great change and technological innovation, resulting from globalization and competitiveness in the international market. In this context, workers are increasingly being pressured to productivity. To expand its vision of health to include their closest links automatically the organization is taking the balance of the relationship between organizational and personal goals. What are the characteristics of a healthy organization in the organizational context? The aim of this study is to circumscribe the difference between a healthy and unhealthy organization in order to draw strategic changes aimed at the welfare of the individual and the organization's sustainability. The study presents a qualitative theoretical approach of descriptive character. Survey results contribute to the theoretical debate and indicate the possibility of future studies on the subject, as their social, economic and strategic.
