Bacurau e o Museu Vivo: Artefatos de resistência a partir das memórias coletiva e social

Resumo: The present work explains the different types of memories that permeate a society and reinforces the importance of monuments having meaning in the construction of the collective memory of a community. This study analyzes how the artifacts of the Historical Museum of the film work of Bacurau, by Kleber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles, materialized and became a symbol of resistance to the attacks of an American extermination group, hired by the mayor, to extinguish the memory of the bacurauenses. The objective of the research is understanding memory, as an essential mark of societies, represented in the film “Bacurau” amidst the tensions posed in preserving the life of the village and its citizens. The methodology used in the work was the film analysis of sound and image, evaluating specific scenes that reveal citizens who resist and demonstrate that the memories of the Living Museum of Bacurau were an artifact of literal survival of that people. It was concluded that the Historical Museum of Bacurau, as a space of institutional social memory, is the materialization of collective, symbolic memories of the community, used as artifacts of resistance for the existence of the village. Through each garment, exposed wood art, newspaper clippings, work tools and weapons, a message of resistance was set and encouraged the people to resist and react.

Este estudo analisa de que forma os artefatos do Museu Histórico da obra filmíca Bacurau, de Kleber Mendonça Filho e Juliano Dornelles, se materializaram e se tornaram símbolo de resistência aos ataques de um grupo de extermínio americano, contratado pelo prefeito, para extiguir a mémoria dos bacurauenses. O objetivo da pesquisa é compreender a memória como marca essencial das sociedades, representada no filme Bacurau em meio às tensões postas na preservação da vida do povoado e dos seus cidadãos. A metodologia utilizada no trabalho é a análise fílmica de som e imagem, ao avaliar cenas específicas que revelam cidadãos que resistem e que demonstram que as memórias do Museu Vivo de Bacurau foram um artefato de sobrevivência literal daquele povo. Conclui-se que o Museu Histórico de Bacurau, como espaço de Memória Social institucional, é a materialização das Memórias Coletivas e simbólicas da comunidade, utilizadas como artefatos de resistência para a existência do povoado.
