The present work of course conclusion deals with the implementation of the BIBLIVRE software in the Epifânio Dória Public Library, State Library, located in the Treze de Julho Neighborhood, South zone of Aracaju, with the objective of identifying and evaluating the results in the automation of said library with the implementation of BIBLIVRE software, which aimed to identify the advantages and disadvantages for the services offered to its users and the activities of management, organization and control of the information after its implementation. The theoretical framework dealt with primordial concepts of the automation system in libraries. To achieve the general objective was to identify the results of the automation process of the Epifânio Dória Public Library services with the BIBLIVRE software and the specifics to evaluate the services offered after the implementation of the BIBLIVRE software; to verify how the automation contributed to the improvement of the services and / or products offered by the library, in order to raise problems and bring improvements to the information unit; analyze the impact of technology on the librarian's work process; identify if librarians are supported and trained and for the success of the general and specific objectives a bibliographic study was used on the subject matter. A schedule of activities was designed to better identify the process of building the research.
