Resumo: The research `Limits and possibilities of using the evaluation system and its indicators for the management of basic education with social quality´, called ProAGE, aimed to identify the needs and perceptions of the community Teodoro Sampaio on the use of evaluation as an aid to school management and municipal educational management. It also objetives to prepare a software of evaluation that respondes to the needs and expectations of the professionals of education in these city. Thus, it was necessary to collect data directly related to the education of the municipality. Aiming to stimulate the use of software, meetings were held to strengthen understanding about the importance of using the results of evaluations and to present the functions of the software developed.

Para tanto, foi necessário coletar dados diretamente ligados à educação do município.
