Objectives: To analyze the occurrence of musculoskeletal symptoms and perceptions regarding the quality of life in physiotherapists of the public network of the municipalities of Lagarto and Simão Dias – SE. Material and Methods: This is a cross-sectional, descriptive and quantitative study of professionals working in public physiotherapy services in the cities of Lagarto and Simão Dias. The research was performed using the Nordic Musculoskeletal Symptoms Questionnaire (QNSO) and the WHOQOL-Bref questionnaire, both validated and adapted to the Portuguese language. Results: Most of the interviewees (78.9%) were female, totaling 15 individuals, with an average age of 31 years for sampling. Of the interviewees, 52.6% work for more than 5 years as physiotherapists, 10.5% work from 2 to 5 years and 36.9% work only 2 years. The anatomic segments affected with higher prevalence were the neck, cervical region, lumbar region and shoulder; and the majority of the workers (66.7%) stated that they had no relation between pain symptoms and work; while only 10.5% received medical diagnosis of DORT and were withdrawn from work. Regarding the individuals' perception of their quality of life, responses were 78.9% for good and only 5.3% dissatisfied with it. Conclusions: Perceptions regarding the quality of life in physiotherapists of the public network in the city of. And SE - S, were positive despite presenting pain with predominance in the cervical and lumbar region.
