Resumo: The work related to sex education allows subjects to develop values, behaviors, knowledge construction, reflections and critical discussions. This is essential for the strengthening of educators equipped with criticality and to ensure an articulated discussion involving school, society, culture, politics, respect and citizenship. This presupposition led to the problem outlined in this study: what are the conceptions of teachers and managers to approach sex education. To do so, the research aimed to investigate the conceptions of sexual education of the teachers and managers of a center of excellence of Aracaju, SE and the need to produce a conceptual primer on the subject. Qualitative-qualitative research was performed using semi-open questionnaires. In order to analyze the conceptions of the teachers and managers, the answers were divided into the following categories: conceptions of the teachers and managers on specific terms related to sex education; pedagogical activities on sex education in the center of excellence; interdisciplinary or disciplinary sex education ?; and difficulties faced. The results indicated the need to construct a conceptual primer to clarify the doubts seen during the analysis of the results on sex education. The production and delivery of the resource to the teachers and managers of the college is a way of showing the importance of the articulation between the school and the university in the promotion of knowledge. The results allowed us to consider at the end of the study that: in part, sex education is not treated in an interdisciplinary way by the teachers and managers as recommended by the National Curricular Parameters (NCPs) and that there is a prevalence of the biological hygienist approach in the conceptions of teachers and managers in relation to the theme. In order for this vision of teachers and managers to be transformed, it is necessary to develop actions aimed at teacher training on the subject; greater articulation between the university and the school through talk wheels, lectures and workshops aimed at teachers and managers on sex education; recognition of the importance of the subject's interdisciplinarity and relevance of the integration of educators

Isso é essencial para o fortalecimento de educadores e educadoras dotados/as de criticidade e para garantir a discussão articulada que envolve escola, sociedade, cultura, política, respeito e cidadania. Esse pressuposto levou à problemática delineada neste trabalho: quais as concepções dos professores/as e gestores/as para abordar educação sexual. Para tanto, a pesquisa objetivou investigar as concepções de educação sexual dos/as professores/as e gestores/as de um centro de excelência de Aracaju, SE e a necessidade da produção de uma cartilha conceitual sobre a temática. A pesquisa de abordagem quali-quantitativa foi realizada por meio de questionários semiabertos. Para análise das concepções dos/as professores/as e gestores/as, as respostas foram divididas nas seguintes categorias: concepções dos/as professores/as e gestores/as sobre termos específicos relacionados à educação sexual; atividades pedagógicas sobre educação sexual no centro de excelência; educação sexual interdisciplinar ou disciplinar?; e dificuldades enfrentadas. Os resultados indicaram a necessidade de construção de uma cartilha conceitual que esclarecesse dúvidas visualizadas durante a análise dos resultados sobre educação sexual. A produção e entrega do recurso aos/às professores/as e gestores/as do colégio constitui uma forma de mostrar a importância da articulação entre a escola e a universidade na promoção de conhecimento. Os resultados permitiram considerar ao final do trabalho que: em parte, a educação sexual não é tratada de forma interdisciplinar pelos/as professores/as e gestores/as como preconiza os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCNs) e que há uma prevalência da abordagem biológica higienista nas concepções dos/as professores/as e gestores/as em relação à temática.
