História e memória : licenciatura em história a distância na Universidade Federal de Sergipe (2005-2014)

Resumo: The present study analyzes, from a historical point of view, the trajectory of the history under graduated course in the distance learning modality (EAD) of Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). It was mainly through the oral narratives from enrolled subjects, focusing on the value, on the speech, and on the pedagogical practices constructed with and between them during the nine years of its operation, since its creation (2005). In addition to oral sources, laws, reports, resolutions, pedagogical projects of the course, covenants, among other documents collected at CESAD and on official websites were used. From the methodological point of view, the assumptions of oral history as technique were used. The narratives were collected through 14 interviews scheduled, transcribed and processed, from graduates, managers and tutor teachers involved in the training. The creation of a degree in History at EAD at UFS was based on the assumptions and curricular elements of the courses at the institution, thus disregarding the differences between the two educational modalities, which has caused numerous challenges. Of all the points raised by the narratives were: the modality itself, the serious conduct with which the moved educational process, the good didactic material elaborated and demanded, besides the peculiar characteristics of people involved with History undergraduate course. About the weaknesses, there were the marks of implantation phase, including with the evaluation process and the faulty and deficient communicational system. The most important findings of this study were: this degree contributed to the technical and cognitive training of its graduates, but left some shortcomings regarding their professional training. He trained, however, reflective teachers, able to advance about what lacked in his academic training.The graduates, who were fruits of history academic training in the distance learning modality of UFS, have been involved as human and professional, capable of using their teaching abilities to transform lives of others also through Education. They changed their world vision way, deal with the diverse and improved their quality of life. The thesis of this work considers, with regard to the training of the subjects involved in this study, the History undergraduate course in this modality, despite the challenges faced during the training journey, that it was able to prepare well its graduates and affected positively their lives, in several aspects: personal, professional, social and economic._________________________________________________________________________________________

Además de las fuentes orales se utilizaron leyes, informes, resoluciones, proyectos pedagógicos del curso, convenios, entre otros documentos recogidos en el Centro de Educación a Distancia (CESAD) y en sitios oficiales. Desde el punto de vista metodológico, se utilizaron los presupuestos de la historia oral como técnica. Se recogieron narrativas, por medio de 14 entrevistas programadas, transcritas y procesadas, de egresados, gestores y profesores tutores involucrados con la formación. La creación de la licenciatura en Historia en la EAD de la UFS ocurrió a partir de los presupuestos y elementos curriculares de los cursos presenciales de esta misma institución, y se desconsideró, por lo tanto, las diferencias entre las dos modalidades educativas y provocó innumerables rectos. De todos los puntos levantados por las narrativas se destacaron: la modalidad en sí, la conducción seria con que se movió el proceso educativo, el buen material didáctico elaborado y exigido, además de las características peculiares de las personas involucradas con el curso de Historia. De las fragilidades, se quedaron las marcas de la fase de implantación, incluso con el proceso de evaluación y el sistema de comunicación fallido y deficiente. Las consideraciones más significativas de este trabajo: esta licenciatura contribuyó con la formación técnica y cognitiva de sus licenciados, pero dejó algunas lagunas en cuanto a la formación profesional de los mismos. Formó, sin embargo, profesores reflexivos, capaces de avanzar n aquello que dejó faltar su formación académica. Los licenciados, frutos de la formación en Historia en la modalidad educativa a distancia de la UFS, evolucionaron como humanos y profesionales, capaces de utilizarse de su actuación docente para transformar las vidas de otros también por medio de la Educación. Cambió la forma en que veían el mundo, de lidiar con lo diverso y mejoraron su calidad de vida. La tesis de este trabajo considera, en lo que se refiere a la formación de los sujetos involucrados con este estudio, el curso de licenciatura en Historia en la referida modalidad, a pesar de los desafíos enfrentados durante el curso de formación, consiguió preparar bien a sus licenciados, marcó positivamente sus vidas, en los diversos aspectos: personales, profesionales, sociales y económicos.O presente estudo analisou, do ponto de vista histórico, a trajetória do curso de licenciatura em História na modalidade educativa a distância (Ead) da Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS), principalmente por meio das narrativas orais dos sujeitos envolvidos, com foco nos valores, nos discursos e nas práticas pedagógicas construídas com e entre eles no decorrer de nove anos de seu funcionamento, desde a sua criação (2005). Além das fontes orais foram utilizadas leis, relatórios, resoluções, projetos pedagógicos do curso, convênios, dentre outros documentos coletados no Centro de Educação a Distância (CESAD) e em sites oficiais. Do ponto de vista metodológico, foram usados os pressupostos da história oral como técnica. Foram recolhidas narrativas, por meio de 14 entrevistas agendadas, transcritas e processadas, de egressos, gestores e professores tutores envolvidos com a formação. A criação da licenciatura em História na Ead da UFS ocorreu a partir dos pressupostos e elementos curriculares dos cursos presenciais desta mesma instituição, desconsiderou, portanto, as diferenças entre as duas modalidades educativas e provocou inúmeros desafios. De todos os pontos levantados pelas narrativas destacaram-se: a modalidade em si, a condução séria com que se moveu o processo educativo, o bom material didático elaborado e exigido, além das características peculiares das pessoas envolvidas com o curso de História. Das fragilidades, ficaram as marcas da fase de implantação, inclusive com o processo de avaliação e o sistema de comunicação falho e deficiente. Foram constatações mais significativas deste trabalho: esta licenciatura contribuiu com a formação técnica e cognitiva dos seus licenciados, mas deixou algumas lacunas no tocante à formação profissional dos mesmos. Formou, porém, professores reflexivos, capazes de avançar naquilo que deixou faltar a sua formação acadêmica. Os licenciados, frutos da formação em História na modalidade educativa a distância da UFS, evoluíram enquanto humanos e profissionais capazes de se utilizarem da sua atuação docente para transformarem as vidas de outros também por meio da Educação. Mudaram a forma como enxergavam o mundo, de lidarem com o diverso, melhoraram sua qualidade de vida.
