The process of innovation in services with the use of management tools arises from the survival needs in the market. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the implementation process of Technology Roadmapping (TRM) in a microenterprise of the service sector, more specifically in the food sector, that operates almost exclusively with self service, identifying the benefits of the tool. The methodology used is the case study and the information was obtained through observation and structured interviews. The main benefit observed with the use of the tool is the possibility of defining strategies for the development of products and services taking into account market trends. It is concluded with the study that the TRM represents an important tool of connection between the future strategy and the current process of the company. In the results, we present the company description, critical analysis, suggestions for improvements and consequent redesign of the processes.
