Resumo: | Purpose: To report the results by the application of EEPa in parents or caregivers of children with the functional development findings registered from the application of PEDI in children with microcephaly by ZKV. Method: Cross-sectional, descriptive, and qualitative study, approved for the Ethical Committee (0373.107.000-15). Sixteen charts filled by parents or caregivers of microcephaly ‘children were analyzed by EPPa and were include. Results: The average pointed out in EPPa was 18,81 points with a variation ranged from7 a to31 points, which denoted that the low stress levels on the PEDI, the highest score was verified in section I with na average of 4.9 out of 73 points. Conclusion: Through the application of the EEPa and the analysis of the results of the PEDI, it was possible conclude that the parents and/or caregivers showed low levels of parental stress even faced on the important delay on the development of functional skills in children with SCZKV. |

Participaram da aplicação da escala 16 mães ou cuidadores primários de crianças com diagnóstico de microcefalia por zika vírus. Os dados de estresse parental foram obtidos pela EEPa, e o desenvolvimento funcional foi obtido por meio da aplicação do PEDI. Resultados:Na EPPa foi verificada a média geral de 18,81 pontos, com variação entre 7 e 31 pontos, o que denotou que os níveis de estresse foram baixos. Para o PEDI a maior pontuação foi obtida na secção I com média de 4.9 dentre 73 pontos de teto.
