Resumo: Introduction: Congenital syphilis (CS) still remains a public health problem in the world and in Brazil, where there is an increase in detection rates in the last ten years and Sergipe was among the states with higher detection rates than national. This study aimed to analyze the temporal trend of CS cases reported in Sergipe in the last twelve years. Methodology: an ecological study, a temporal series type that analyzed the cases of congenital syphilis reported in the Sergipe State Information System in the state of Sergipe from 2006 to 2017. The maternal socio-demographic variables, the relative trend and the spatial distribution of CS in the state. Results: almost 60% of the mothers had incomplete primary education; 67% of them were between 20 and 34 years old and 84.91% were brown. In the evaluated period, Sergipe presented a growing trend (annual percentage growth of 14.78% and p <0.05). There was also an increase in the number of municipalities with 15 or more cases/1000 live-births. Conclusions: this study evidenced an increasing trend pattern of SC in the period evaluated, in addition to an increase in detection rates. These results reinforce the need for actions aimed at controlling this aggravation in the state.

Lagarto, SEporEpidemiologiaSífilisSífilis congênitaTendência temporalTemporal tendencyCongenital syphilisEpidemiologyTendência temporal da sífilis congênita em Sergipe, Brasil, 2006 – 2017info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisUFSDMEL - Departamento de Medicina Lagarto – Lagarto - Presencialreponame:Repositório Institucional da UFSinstname:Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS)instacron:UFSinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessTEXTFERNANDO_MENEZES_DOS_SANTOS_JUNIOR&JOÃO_SANTOS_COSTA.pdf.txtFERNANDO_MENEZES_DOS_SANTOS_JUNIOR&JOÃO_SANTOS_COSTA.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain86996https://ri.ufs.br/jspui/bitstream/riufs/9253/3/FERNANDO_MENEZES_DOS_SANTOS_JUNIOR%26JO%c3%83O_SANTOS_COSTA.pdf.txt4fe31f85ec929cfc4763eb7a1d750e0dMD53THUMBNAILFERNANDO_MENEZES_DOS_SANTOS_JUNIOR&JOÃO_SANTOS_COSTA.pdf.jpgFERNANDO_MENEZES_DOS_SANTOS_JUNIOR&JOÃO_SANTOS_COSTA.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg1257https://ri.ufs.br/jspui/bitstream/riufs/9253/4/FERNANDO_MENEZES_DOS_SANTOS_JUNIOR%26JO%c3%83O_SANTOS_COSTA.pdf.jpg261d1601ebdea3947570132dbde459a9MD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain; charset=utf-81475https://ri.ufs.br/jspui/bitstream/riufs/9253/1/license.txt098cbbf65c2c15e1fb2e49c5d306a44cMD51ORIGINALFERNANDO_MENEZES_DOS_SANTOS_JUNIOR&JOÃO_SANTOS_COSTA.pdfFERNANDO_MENEZES_DOS_SANTOS_JUNIOR&JOÃO_SANTOS_COSTA.pdfapplication/pdf1890167https://ri.ufs.br/jspui/bitstream/riufs/9253/2/FERNANDO_MENEZES_DOS_SANTOS_JUNIOR%26JO%c3%83O_SANTOS_COSTA.pdfec4b87fe0ab7d6dd06a40c1e144eec61MD52riufs/92532018-10-15 15:08:46.742oai:ufs.br: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Repositório InstitucionalPUBhttps://ri.ufs.br/oai/requestrepositorio@academico.ufs.bropendoar:2018-10-15T18:08:46Repositório Institucional da UFS - Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS)false
