Uma análise dos registros de violência doméstica contra as mulheres no município de Aracaju-SE no período de 2019 a 2021

This research aimed to analyze the phenomenon of domestic violence against women in the municipality of Aracaju/SE from 2019 to 2021. analyzed records. The study was of a quantitative and qualitative nature, being developed through theoretical, documental and field research. Theoretical research took place with a bibliographical survey on the themes: patriarchy, gender, racism and domestic violence against women in the Covid-19 pandemic. The documentary research was developed based on the reports of the Department of Assistance to Vulnerable Groups (DAGV) and the records of occurrences related to the Maria da Penha Law of the State Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) in the period from 2019 to 2021. The data allowed characterizing the particularities of violence against women in Aracaju, the most recurrent expressions, as well as apprehending the functioning of the DAGV during the period of the covid-19 pandemic based on an institutional visit to the field. The analyzes reveal the most prominent types of occurrences during the years 2019 to 2021 that in the ranking of ten types, are presented as threat, injury, bodily injury, factual acts, damage, non-compliance with an urgent protective measure, defamation, disturbance of tranquility, persecution (stalking), disturbance of work or the peace of others. The study also compares some data from before and during the pandemic. With the study of the research, we concluded that although the data from the records of occurrences had a reduction in the numbers, the reality contradicts the data since the underreporting remained present in this period, since the victims, in addition to remaining for much longer with the aggressor as a result of social isolation, also faced numerous difficulties in denouncing and/or asking for help. Therefore, we aim to collaborate for the performance of Social Work in this area, given that it deals directly with the various expressions of the social question, as is the case of domestic violence against women, in the same way, to contribute with other research on the subject.
