LEXICON OF NATIVE AFRICAN LANGUAGES PRESENT IN PORTUGUESE SPOKEN IN MUSSUCA COMMUNITY, SERGIPE STATE

Resumo: The work presented the objective of identifying the lexias of African origin present in the variety of Portuguese spoken in Brazil, taking as a basis the community of quilombola Mussuca, in the state of Sergipe, in order to collaborate with the theories that linguistic contact contributed significantly to the constitution of Brazilian Portuguese. The principles of modern lexicography, which consists in the use of corpus and computational tools for producing a lexicographic work, were used for the research, and the corpus was based on recordings of interviews in the Mussuca community, in the state of Sergipe and the Antconc computational tool for lexical selection. The results showed that many lexias are in constant use by members of the speech community, which proves the assumption that, in addition to the cultural legacy, Africans enrich the lexical collection of Brazilian Portuguese.

Para a investigação empregaram-se os princípios da lexicografia moderna, que consiste na utilização de corpus e ferramentas computacionais para produção de uma obra lexicográfica, assim sendo, utilizou-se o corpus constituído a partir de gravações de entrevistas na comunidade Mussuca, no estado de Sergipe e a ferramenta computacional AntConc para seleção das lexias.
