Resumo: This article offers a reflection on the participation of the Administration of Justice in the processes of formation and expansion of legal culture. In this sense, and based on the supposition that judges expand the legal culture through their judicial practices, it affirms that only an intellectual and moral reform, in the Gramscian sense of the concept, which comprehends all the people (including the operators of law) can produce a radically democratic transformation of this culture. It also maintains that many possibilities for the route indicated open from good, common legal sense, but also become indispensable to the internal democratization of the Judiciary and the external control of its jurisdictional activities.

Revista KatálysisRevista KatálysisRevista Katálysis2006-04-29info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/katalysis/article/view/S1414-49802006000100010Revista Katálysis; Vol. 9 No. 1 (2006): Poder judiciário cultura e sociedade; 99-106Revista Katálysis; Vol. 9 Núm. 1 (2006): Poder judiciário cultura e sociedade; 99-106Revista Katálysis; v. 9 n. 1 (2006): Poder judiciário cultura e sociedade; 99-1061982-02591414-4980reponame:Revista Katálysis (Online)instname:Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)instacron:UFSCporhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/katalysis/article/view/S1414-49802006000100010/5495Copyright (c) 2020 María del Carmen Cortizoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCortizo, María del Carmen2020-01-28T09:49:07Zoai:periodicos.ufsc.br:article/5949Revistahttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/katalysis/indexPUBhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/katalysis/oairevistakatalysis@gmail.com || kataly@cse.ufsc.br || revistakatalysis@hotmail.com1982-02591414-4980opendoar:2020-01-28T09:49:07Revista Katálysis (Online) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)false
