Resumo: We live in a patriarchal-racist-capitalist society that continually renews the unequal social relations which based the Brazil social formation since the colonial period. Among the expressions of this inequality, there is a strong invisibility of black women. Therefore, in this article we aim to present women protagonists of struggles and resistances against slavery in Brazil. It is essential to reveal the importance of these women and break with the invisibility of their actions. Here, we present the black women as a fundamental historical and political subject in the actions of resistance against slavery. Women who remain silenced by the dominant white narrative. To this end, we carried out a qualitative research based on bibliographic and documental review with a marxist feminism and a dialectical historical materialism approach. We conclude that even in the face of social inequality, black women led resistance and struggles against slavery in defense of freedom.

Revista KatálysisRevista KatálysisRevista Katálysis2022-05-06info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/katalysis/article/view/8466110.1590/1982-0259.2022.e84661Revista Katálysis; Vol. 25 No. 2 (2022): Serviço Social, Racismo e Classes Sociais; 191-201Revista Katálysis; Vol. 25 Núm. 2 (2022): Serviço Social, Racismo e Classes Sociais; 191-201Revista Katálysis; v. 25 n. 2 (2022): Serviço Social, Racismo e Classes Sociais; 191-2011982-02591414-4980reponame:Revista Katálysis (Online)instname:Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)instacron:UFSCporhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/katalysis/article/view/84661/48773Copyright (c) 2022 Mirla Cisne, Fernanda Ianaelinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCisne, MirlaIanael Evangelista de Oliveira , Fernanda2022-05-06T19:16:45Zoai:periodicos.ufsc.br:article/84661Revistahttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/katalysis/indexPUBhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/katalysis/oairevistakatalysis@gmail.com || kataly@cse.ufsc.br || revistakatalysis@hotmail.com1982-02591414-4980opendoar:2022-05-06T19:16:45Revista Katálysis (Online) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)false
