Publication of Experimental Researches on Consumer Behavior: : an analysis of the Articles Presented at the ANPAD Events

Resumo: | Given the importance of experimental researches in Applied Social Sciences, especially in the field of Consumer Behavior, and the relevance of the annals of both ANPAD Meeting (EnANPAD) and ANPAD Marketing Meeting (EMA) for research development and knowledge creation in this area, this study aimed to evaluate the publications on the theme ‘Experimental Researches on Consumer Behavior’ in the Marketing academic division at both events. The study is justified since it is important to analyze the Brazilian scientific production through clippings, to criticize and describe what is published, and examine the use of certain methodological practices. This research is characterized as bibliometric descriptive with a quantitative approach. The results indicate the evolution of experimental studies in Brazil when compared to results from previous surveys. However, there are still gaps to be filled. Thus, a proposal is presented for the enhancement of the experimental research on the field of consumer behavior. |

Thus, a proposal is presented for the enhancement of the experimental research on the field of consumer behavior.Dada a importância das pesquisas experimentais nas Ciências Sociais Aplicadas, especialmente no campo do Comportamento do Consumidor, e a relevância dos anais do Encontro da ANPAD (EnANPAD) e do Encontro de Marketing da ANPAD (EMA) para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa e criação do conhecimento nessa área, objetivou-se avaliar as publicações do tema ‘Pesquisas Experimentais em Comportamento do Consumidor’ da divisão acadêmica de Marketing dos dois eventos. O estudo se justifica, pois analisar a produção científica brasileira, por meio de recortes, é importante para criticar e descrever o que é publicado e examinar o uso de determinadas práticas metodológicas. A pesquisa caracteriza-se como bibliométrica descritiva com abordagem quantitativa. Os resultados indicam a evolução dos estudos experimentais no Brasil quando compara-se os resultados com levantamentos anteriores. Porém, ainda existem lacunas que devem ser preenchidas.
