Resumo: | This study addressed the following objective: to know the concepts and the practice of multidisciplinary team work from the perspective of managers and team members. The problem of the research was: how to develop and to manage the work of the multidisciplinary health care team in the hospital organizations? The study was developed with toplevel professionals of two hospitals. It was found that in the management practice there are dissonances in relation to discourse when there is no recognition of the power relations or in the absence of a structured policy that reflects a multidisciplinary team worktreatment. |

Para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, foi criado o seguinte problema: como se desenvolve o trabalho e a gestão da equipe multidisciplinar de saúde em organizações hospitalares? O estudo foi desenvolvido com profissionais de nível superior de dois hospitais.
