Resumo: Teaching is much more efficient when there is discovery. Research stimulates, encourage, makes students to enjoy learning, after all it s a pleasure to learn! Of course that a blackboard full of theory and exercises is not attractive but it was in this environment that two followers founded a great surprise: further than solving a problem, they confront a mysterious discovery of how light reflex inside a coffee cup. This is a resumed narration of this two students adventure.

Ela estimula o aluno, provoca-o e faz com que a aprendizagem se torne menos maçante porque, afinal, é um prazer aprender! É claro que um quadro cheio de teoria e uma lista quilométrica de exercícios nem sempre são muito atraentes, mas foi nesse ambiente que duas colegas acabaram tendo uma surpresa: além de resolver um problema, elas se depararam com uma descoberta intrigante acerca da forma do reflexo da luz em xícaras de café...
