Training teachers to apply the BNCC: the new guidelines and its marketing project for teacher education

Resumo: | In this paper we discuss the new national curricular guidelines for teacher education, approved in December 2019, through a literature review. We sought, from works that have analyzed this legislation, outline an overview of the main aspects involved in the criticism of this training policy. We characterize and problematize the guidelines and the underlying formative model around eight structuring topics that allow us to understand the principles that underlie them, the context of production, the narratives established to justify the new formative project, the concept of competencies, the alignment with basic education and the vision of practice and teacher appreciation. From this point of view, our work reveals the main discussions about the theme and warns about the setbacks in teacher education. We defend that our ethical and political assignment, as teachers and researchers, is to fight for the repeal these guidelines. |

Buscamos, a partir de trabalhos que analisaram essa legislação, traçar um panorama dos principais aspectos envolvidos nas críticas acerca dessa política de formação. Caracterizamos e problematizamos as diretrizes e o modelo formativo subjacente em torno de oito tópicos estruturantes que permitem compreender os princípios que os embasam, o contexto de produção, as narrativas estabelecidas para justificar o novo projeto formativo, a concepção de competências, o alinhamento à educação básica e a visão de prática e valorização docente. Sob esse olhar, nosso trabalho revela as principais discussões acerca do tema e alerta para graves retrocessos que recaem sobre a formação de professores.
