Resumo: | In this paper, was analyzed the construction of Argumentative Reasoning Line (ARL) by students in Physics classes, through the application of sequence of activities based on Science-Technology-Society (STS) education. The research was carried out with 47 students in the 1st year of high school, from a public school in the Integral Education Program of the State of São Paulo. Previously implementation this analysis, a questionnaire was applied to the students, using the google forms platform, about aspects related to Science, Technology and Society. Based on their responses to this questionnaire, the theme of space exploration was chosen to be worked in the mentioned sequence of activities. The analysis of the ARL constructed by the students during the application of such sequence of activities was based on some textual productions elaborated by them. For this analysis, a model was used allows the investigation of the construction of the ARL, elaborated from the Toulmin pattern. The results showed that the students' initial ideas are relevant for the construction of a sequence of activities related to the principles and parameters of STS education and that its application favored the construction of ARL by the students, contemplating aspects related to the structure of an argument and the Physics concepts, making it possible to connect relationships between the students' ARL and the mentioned principles and parameters. |
