Thermal physical teaching: reflection cycles of a physics teacher about his pedagogical practice

Resumo: This research was motivated by the discontentment of a physics teacher regarding his pedagogical practice in order to enable students to develop the competences listed in the pedagogical proposal of the São Paulo State Board of Education. Faced with this discontentment this teacher conducted this research through cycles of analysis and reflection of his pedagogical practice with students of the second grade of High School with the objective of assuming a posture in the classroom that would make such development possible. Therefore firstly he analyzed and reflected about his practice until 2016. Based on this reflection he identified some points that needed changes that served as the basis for the elaboration of the Learning Sequence 1, applied in 2017. The application of this sequence in the classroom became the object of analysis and reflection resulting new points needed of change that served as a basis for the elaboration of Learning Sequence 2, applied in 2018. When analyzing and reflecting the application of this last sequence the teacher realized need for new changes that points to the importance of such process being continuous. The results of this research showed that the process of analysis and reflection of the practice himself has modified and improved the pedagogical posture of this teacher in the classroom that provided students with the development of the mentioned competences.

The results of this research showed that the process of analysis and reflection of the practice himself has modified and improved the pedagogical posture of this teacher in the classroom that provided students with the development of the mentioned competences.A presente pesquisa foi motivada pela insatisfação de um professor de física relativa à sua prática pedagógica no sentido de propiciar aos alunos o desenvolvimento das competências elencadas na proposta pedagógica elaborada pela Secretaria de Educação do Estado de São Paulo. Frente a essa insatisfação, esse professor realizou esta pesquisa, por meio de ciclos de análise e reflexão dessa prática, com alunos da segunda série do Ensino Médio, da escola da rede estadual de ensino onde trabalhava, com o objetivo de assumir uma postura em sala de aula que viabilizasse a eles tal desenvolvimento. Para tanto, primeiramente, analisou e refletiu sobre a sua prática até o ano de 2016. A partir de tal reflexão, identificou alguns pontos carentes de mudança relativos a ela, que serviram de base para a elaboração da Sequência de Aprendizagem 1, aplicada em 2017. A aplicação dessa sequência em sala de aula passou a ser objeto de análise e reflexão, o que resultou em novos pontos carentes de mudança, que serviram de base para a elaboração da Sequência de Aprendizagem 2, aplicada no ano de 2018. Ao analisar e refletir a aplicação dessa última sequência, o professor percebeu a necessidade de novas mudanças, o que aponta para a importância de que tal processo seja contínuo.
