Resumo: The study about entrepreneurship as a new management model used for information environment places (archives and libraries). The goal is to discuss how the archivist and the librarian can be entrepreneurs in information environments: archives, libraries, information and documentation centers. The research is exploratory and descriptive study. Explores and describes the phenomenon of entrepreneurship. The result is to discuss concepts and applications about entrepreneur to create and apply innovative strategies for the diverse needs of our society and even the internalization of their actions in the environment of professional performance.

O objetivo é debater como o arquivista e o bibliotecário podem ser empreendedores em ambientes da informação: arquivos, bibliotecas, centros de informação e documentação. O trabalho de pesquisa é de natureza exploratória e descritiva. Explora e descreve o fenômeno do empreendedorismo.
