Records management aligned with quality management: an analysis from the application of ISO Standards

Resumo: | This article seeks to understand how records management, aligned with quality management, can be seen as a generator of results aimed at greater productivity control, the implementation of processes that can provide satisfactory results, and the improvement of the quality of services provided to customers and organizations. The research was developed through the analysis and acquisition of results from bibliographic research over the past ten years (2013 to 2022) in the BRAPCI and CAPES databases. The method used in the texts was the "browsing" technique, aiming to find definitions, characterization, and requirements of records management, quality management, archival governance, and archival management, as well as records of best practices and/or strategic levels and the use of ISO standards and quality tools. The objectives were to: identify and understand what has been published on the subject in the last ten years in the fields of Information Science and Archival Science; map points of convergence and/or convergence between quality management, archival management, and records management; identify foundations and examples of the application of ISO standards related to records management. Based on the data obtained, there appears to be a lack of material related to the application of the ISO Records Management Standard as a possible tool in the development of archival services and results regarding its application within organizations, which justifies further investigation in future research. |

Buscando la excelencia a través de la incorporación de diversos sistemas de gestión, es posible dotar a las organizaciones de un comportamiento y una postura más estratégica y competitiva en sus segmentos. El periodo seleccionado para el desarrollo de la investigación, análisis y obtención de resultados bibliográficos comprende los últimos diez años (2013 a 2022). El objetivo fue verificar si los autores de los textos seleccionados entienden que la aplicación de las Normas ISO relacionadas con la gestión documental puede servir de base para una gestión archivística capaz de colaborar en el desarrollo de procedimientos que generen resultados, que apunten a buenas soluciones administrativas y proporcionar un escenario de buen gobierno para las organizaciones.Este artigo busca compreender como a gestão de documentos, alinhada à gestão de qualidade, pode ser entendida como geradora de resultados visando um maior controle de produtividade, a implantação de processos que possam proporcionar resultados satisfatórios e a melhoria da qualidade de serviços prestados aos clientes e as organizações. O desenvolvimento da pesquisa, se deu através da análise e obtenção dos resultados advindos de pesquisa bibliográfica, referente aos últimos dez anos (2013 a 2022), nas bases de dados da BRAPCI e CAPES. Como método foi utilizado, nos textos, a técnica de “brauseio, procurando encontrar definições, caracterização e requisitos de gestão de documentos, gestão da qualidade, governança arquivística e gerenciamento arquivístico; além de registros de boas práticas e/ou níveis estratégicos e o uso de normas ISO e ferramentas da qualidade. Os objetivos foram: identificar e compreender o que vem sendo publicado sobre a temática, nos últimos dez anos, nos campos da Ciência da Informação e da Arquivologia; mapear pontos de aproximação e/ou convergência entre a gestão da qualidade, o gerenciamento arquivístico e a gestão de documentos; identificar fundamentos e exemplos de aplicação das normas ISO relativas à gestão de documentos.
