Brazilian archivology: scientific training and information

Resumo: This work shares the results of research on the implementation of Undergraduate Courses in Archival Science in Brazil, the training and postgraduate training of teachers of the Courses implemented since 2003, and the scientific production published in scientific journals. Data on training and graduate studies were collected from the Lattes Curriculum of the professors of the Undergraduate Courses in Archival Science, as reported on the websites of the Universities. Data from Rocha's thesis (2021) were used as sources of information, the list of Brazilian Journals on the Portal of the Laboratory of Intellectual Technologies, from which 19 journals in the area of ​​Information Science classified in stratum A of Qualis de Periodicals of the Capes, articles from journals indexed in the Information Science Database from 1972 to 2021 and data from repositories from universities that offer degrees in Archival Science. It was identified that from 2003 onwards, 50% of the Undergraduate Courses in Archival Science were implemented in Brazil, and from that time frame onwards, an increase in scientific production published in journals indexed in the Information Science Database, as well as the organization of Study Groups and associative entities in the area of ​​Archival Science, with emphasis on the implementation of Education and Research Meetings in Archival Science at the national level.

Los dados sobre formación y posgrado se obtuvieron del Currículo Lattes de los docentes de los cursos de grado en Archivística, según informaciones los enlaces de las universidades. Se utilizaron como fuentes de información: los datos de la tesis de Rocha (2021); la lista de los Periódicos brasileños en el Portal del Laboratorio de Tecnologías Intelectuales, de donde fueron seleccionados 19 periódicos del área de Ciencia de la Información clasificados en el estrato A del Qualis de Periódicos da Capes; los artículos de periódicos indexados en la Base de Datos en Ciencia de la Información en el periodo de 1972 a 2021 y los datos de repositorios de universidades que ofrecen grado en Archivística. Se ha identificado que a partir de 2003 se implementó el 50% de los cursos de grado en Archivística en Brasil, y a partir de ese hito temporal se observó un incremento en la producción científica publicada en periódicos indexados en la Base de Datos en Ciencia de la Información, así como la organización de Grupos de Estudios y entidades asociativas en el área de la Archivística, destacándose la implementación de las Reuniones de Enseñanza e Investigación en Archivística a nivel nacional.Este trabalho compartilha resultados de pesquisas sobre a implementação dos Cursos de Graduação em Arquivologia no Brasil, a formação e pós-graduação dos docentes dos Cursos implementados a partir de 2003 e a produção científica publicada em periódicos científicos. Os dados sobre formação e pós-graduação foram coletados no Currículo Lattes dos docentes dos Cursos de Graduação em Arquivologia, conforme informado nos sites das Universidades. Foram utilizados como fontes de informação os dados da tese de Rocha (2021), a listagem das Revistas brasileiras no Portal do Laboratório de Tecnologias Intelectuais, de onde foram selecionadas 19 revistas da área de Ciência da Informação classificadas no estrato A do Qualis de Periódicos da Capes, os artigos de periódicos indexados na Base de Dados em Ciência da Informação no período de 1972 a 2021 e os dados de repositórios de universidades que oferecem graduação em Arquivologia.
