Resumo: Discipline CIN 7106- Evolution of Philosophical  and Scientific Thought is part of curricular matrix of the undergraduate degree in archival science at the Federal University of  Santa Catarina. Is offered, as a compulsory subject, students enrolled in the first phase of the course. This is the main historical forms of philosophical and scientific discourse in the Western world, as well as its policy makers. Part of Classical philosophy, pervades the Medieval, Modern and encompasses concludes with Contemporary philosophy. Stimulates the academic debate and reflection about the scientifc and philosophical foundations to  applicable  professional  practices  Archivist.
