O presente artigo consiste em uma breve exposição sobre a regra moral e os princípios práticos do agir em Kant. O texto direciona para o esclarecimento do conceito de autonomia da vontade, imprescindível para a justificação da moralidade, e sem o qual o homem não poderia ser pensado como um fim em si mesmo. Tomando por fonte principal a Fundamentação da metafísica dos costumes, mas não se restringindo a ela, o texto busca mostrar, a partir da noção de Imperativo Categórico, como a natureza humana pode ser considerada um fim em si mesmo. Para isso, se faz necessário reconstruir a argumentação referente aos conceitos de vontade, lei e máxima. Palavras-chave : Vontade; Imperativo categórico; Regra moral; Kant Abstract : The following article briefly displays the moral law and the practical principles of action in Kant. The text focuses on clarifying the concept of autonomy of will, which is vitally important to justify morality and, without which, man could never be thought as an end in himself. The main, but not unique, source of the text is the Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals and it aims at showing, from the notion of Categorical Imperative, how human nature can be considered an end in itself. To do so, it was necessary to reconstruct arguments regarding the concepts of will, law and maxim. Keywords : Will; Categorical Imperative; Moral Rule; Kant
