Resumo: The emergence of brands such as Ahimsa (São Paulo, Brazil), Apuê (Paraná, Brazil) and Insecta Shoes (Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil) between 2013 and 2015 may signal a scenario of change in the panorama of conscious consumption in Brazil, especially in relation to veganism. Based on this hypothesis, this article aims to highlight, through a bibliographic survey, which national clothing brands serve vegan consumers, as well as which market segments they operate in. For this purpose, secondary data from research already carried out on the subject were used, which makes it possible to understand this article, methodologically, as bibliographic, descriptive and qualitative research. The results achieved confirm the hypothesis outlined initially and indicate the existence of eighteen vegan brands that are operating in the country, especially in the casualwear, accessories and footwear segments.
