Resumo: This article presents a review of the concepts of social innovation, design for social innovation, traditional services, service design, relational service design, and sustainable urban development to analyze the collective Agroecologia na Periferia, which acts as an agroecological technical consultancy in the city of Belo Horizonte and its metropolitan region. As a result, we obtained a practical understanding of the concepts previously presented and also the difference between the perspective of traditional services and relational services in the performance of the collective.
