Resumo: | The use of comics in teaching has been reported as a promising strategy, due to its attractiveness, ease of communication with the reader and to establish contextualizations and interactions between different types of knowledge. With the objective of presenting to high school students scientific concepts related to bacteriology, using comics as a teaching resource, two comics were produced and evaluated that involved themes related to this discipline. To select the content presented in the stories, the Bacteriology approach was analyzed in three collections of high school textbooks used in public schools, aiming to identify marginalized and/or neglected aspects, as well as contextualization points. The evaluation of the comic books, carried out through the analysis of questionnaires answered by the students of the 3rd year of high school, allowed us to consider that this resource was well accepted by the students, improved the learning of the contents covered and promoted its contextualization, which is essential to make sense what is taught. |
