Perceptions of graduates in biological sciences on the use of "Virtual Laminário of Plant Anatomy" in the teaching of botany

Resumo: | The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) is a significant alternative for teaching material and can help in Botany teaching, which is considered complex and sometimes neglected. Because of this, the ICT “Virtual Plant Anatomy Laminar” was developed for Botany classes in Higher Education. The objective was to analyze the perceptions of undergraduates regarding the use of the laminar and to identify the limits and possibilities of using this material in the teaching-learning process. For that, qualitative research was carried out using participant observation and a questionnaire. Data were analyzed in the light of Discursive Textual Analysis and the main results were: the material was considered didactic and self-explanatory, bringing dynamism to the class, the need to use a personal computer was considered as the main limiting factor. It was also observed that the majority of licentiates did not recognize this type of material as ICT, and this work increased the knowledge of licensors about these technologies. |

Por isso foi desenvolvida a TIC “Laminário Virtual de Anatomia Vegetal”, para aulas no Ensino Superior. Objetivou-se analisar as percepções de licenciandos quanto à utilização do laminário e identificar os limites e possibilidades do uso desse material no processo ensino-aprendizagem. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa com observação participante e aplicação de questionário. Os dados foram analisados à luz da Análise Textual Discursiva e os principais resultados foram: o laminário foi considerado didático e autoexplicativo, trazendo dinamismo à aula, como principal fator limitante temos a necessidade de uso de computador pessoal.
