Resumo: The objective of this work was to validate the attitudes scale towards teaching statistics (EAPANE) and to evaluate the attitudes of teachers from the elementary school in eight schools in the city of Uberlândia (MG) - two public schools; two municipal schools; a federal school; and three private schools. The scale has satisfactory psychometric properties to measure the construct "Positivity of the Attitude of Teachers in the elementary school towards Teaching Statistics". It is observed in the four domains generated by the Exploratory Factor Analysis that they are essentially cognitive in nature, which seems to indicate that the teachers consider the statistical elements important for the formation of their students, but unfortunately do not highlight affective aspects, that is, indicates that for the teachers participating in the research, the teaching of statistics is an important tool for the treatment of data that is present in the daily life of the citizen.

A escala apresenta propriedades psicométricas satisfatórias para medir o constructo “Positividade da Atitude de Professores dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental em relação ao Ensino de Estatística”.
