Development of Didactic Teaching Material for TSFL: Cognitive Approach in the Teaching of Hispano-American Spanish

Resumo: | The purpose of this article is to present the development process of a Spanish as a foreign language didactic teaching material, focused on an audience of Portuguese-speaking adults. The development of the material is linked to Vaivén Hispano's mission of "consulting as well as teaching Spanish as a foreign language and for specific purposes". This material is founded on approaches from cognitive linguistics for foreign language teaching (RUIZ, 2007; IBARRETXE-ANTUÑANO, 2019) and on the didactic perspective of task-based language teaching methodologies (TBLT) (ESTAIRE; ZANÓN, 1990). A sample of two didactic units of introductory (A2) and advanced (C1) levels are taken to analyze the structure of the materials and the criteria considered for their elaboration. We conclude with some important and necessary considerations based on our experience during the development of the project. |

La elaboración del material se vincula a los trabajos de “Enseñanza y consultoría del español como lengua extranjera y para fines específicos” de la empresa Vaivén Hispano. Este proceso está fundamentado en planteamientos de la lingüística cognitiva para la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras (RUIZ, 2007; IBARRETXE-ANTUÑANO, 2019) y en la perspectiva didáctica de la Enseñanza del Lenguaje Mediante Tareas (ELMT) (ESTAIRE; ZANÓN, 1990). Se toma una muestra de dos unidades didácticas de nivel inicial (A2) y avanzado (C1) para ejemplificar la estructuración del material y los criterios considerados para su elaboración. Se finaliza con algunas consideraciones importantes y necesarias a partir de nuestra experiencia en la elaboración del proyecto.Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar o processo de elaboração de material didático para o ensino do espanhol como língua estrangeira, focado em estudantes adultos falantes de português. A elaboração do material vincula-se ao trabalho de “Ensino e consultoria do espanhol como língua estrangeira e para fins específicos” da empresa Vaivén Hispano. Este processo fundamenta-se nos pressupostos da linguística cognitiva para o ensino de línguas estrangeiras (RUIZ, 2007; IBARRETXE-ANTUÑANO, 2019) e na perspectiva didática do Ensino de Língua por meio de Tarefas (ELT) (ESTAIRE; ZANÓN, 1990). Apresenta-se a uma amostra de duas unidades didáticas do nível iniciante (A2) e avançado (C1) para exemplificar a estruturação do material e dos critérios considerados para sua elaboração.
