Language and alterity in hosting refugees: for a micropolitics of the language

Resumo: In this article we proceed to a discussion about our ethical and political implications as language-teaching professors in a hosting course for refugees. We aim to address the field of second-language-teaching education, considering the teacher's role in promoting rights. In this context, we discuss the following matters: i) which language policies can sustain the preparation of teaching materials for Portuguese language teaching to refugees?; ii) which ethical and political implications are subjacent to the proposition of activities as language teachers towards this direction? Considering that the guiding issues of this paper is related to interdisciplinary analysis, we propose to discuss these matters based on the perspective of Deleuze and Guattari’s micropolitics and Bakhtin’s alterity concept.

La reflexión se dirige al campo de la formación de profesores no nativos, con el fin de comprender el papel del profesor en la promoción de los derechos. Para eso, proponemos las siguientes preguntas: i) ¿qué políticas del lenguaje pueden sostener la elaboración de material didáctico para el curso de portugués como lengua de acogida a los refugiados? ii) ¿qué implicaciones éticas y políticas están detrás de las actividades propuestas, como profesores de lengua, en esa dirección? Considerando que las preguntas de orientación de este trabajo establecen una relación interdisciplinaria de análisis, proponemos debatir estas cuestiones desde la perspectiva de la micro-política de Deleuze y Guattari y el concepto de alteridad en Bakhtin.Neste artigo, procedemos a uma discussão acerca de nossas implicações ético-políticas como professores de língua no acolhimento a refugiados. A reflexão dirige-se ao campo da formação de professores de língua não materna, entendendo o papel desse profissional na promoção de direitos. Para tanto, propomos os seguintes questionamentos: i) que políticas linguísticas podem dar sustentação à preparação de material didático para o curso de português como língua de acolhimento a refugiados? ; ii) que implicações éticas e políticas encontram-se subjacentes à proposição de atividades, como professores de língua, nessa direção?
