Resumo: Defending the philosophy centrality of the science of the neokantian Heinrich Rickert on the epistemic and methodological reflection of Max Weber, this article analyses the way that the objectiveness problem (scientific as much as axiological) takes over in the weberian thought. Moreover, the work support the thesis that Max Weber innovates in his effort to save the notion of truth (on the range of cultural sciences) at the same time refusing the possibility (against Rickert) of objective validity and universal values, which, however, are constitutive of those sciences as it is.
