Resumo: This article seeks to discuss the short story genre, reflecting on its singularities, possible origins, and concepts, establishing a dialogue between existing theories and the specificities perceived in current texts. After, talking about the mentioned theme, this work intends to deal with the Twitter platform and the mechanisms that make it, even today, a social network representative of the ephemerality characteristic of the current moment. To this end, this work uses mainly the contributions of Howitt-Dring (2019), Miller (1990), Santaella (2010), and Spalding (2008). This proposal is justified for contributing to the studies on digital literature, which have stood out in recent decades, making new tools available for the literary experience in these environments.

Center for Research in Computing, Literature, and Linguistics (NuPILL)2021-08-04info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/textodigital/article/view/7278110.5007/1807-9288.2021.e72781Texto Digital; Vol. 17 No. 1 (2021): Multimodalidade em textos digitais - Parte I; 224-238Texto Digital; Vol. 17 No 1 (2021): Multimodalidade em textos digitais - Parte I; 224-238Texto Digital; v. 17 n. 1 (2021): Multimodalidade em textos digitais - Parte I; 224-2381807-9288reponame:Texto digitalinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)instacron:UFSCporhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/textodigital/article/view/72781/47016Copyright (c) 2021 Ânderson Martins Pereira, Ariane Ávila Neto de Farias, Mariane Pereira Rochahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPereira, Ânderson MartinsFarias, Ariane Ávila Neto deRocha, Mariane Pereira2021-08-04T13:44:14Zoai:periodicos.ufsc.br:article/72781Revistahttp://www.periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/textodigitalPUBhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/textodigital/oaitextodigital@cce.ufsc.br1807-92881807-9288opendoar:2021-08-04T13:44:14Texto digital - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)false
