Resumo: | In this paper, we aim at stablishing a link between the operation of ideology and the functioning of the imaginary in the signification of reactions on social media. To do so, grounded on Pêcheux’s Discourse Analysis (AD), we render a theoretical summary on the concept of identification, at first from Lacan’s work (1996), and then re-reading those definitions through the lenses of AD, based on Pêcheux’s studies (1990; 1995) as well as Orlandi’s (1999; 2005), introducing the subjective modalities presented by Pêcheux (1995 [1975]): identification, counter-identification and disidentification. Besides that, we weave some words regarding the notion of overidentification as suggested by Zizek (2010; 2017). The aim is to recapture these theoretical discussions in order to analyze the reaction-effects as forms of (counter/dis/over)identification of subjects to the discourses they are exposed on digital media, presenting as a specific analytical material a sequence of photograms of a reaction-effect on Facebook, about the Covid-19 pandemic, in 2020. |

Online (over/dis/counter)identification processes and production of subjectivity in reaction-effects on social mediaProcessos de (super/des/contra-) identificação online e produção de subjetividade no efeito-reação em redes sociaisIn this paper, we aim at stablishing a link between the operation of ideology and the functioning of the imaginary in the signification of reactions on social media.
