Resumo: | The current article brings into the forefront an excerpt of a Doctoral Dissertation recently submitted to the field of literary studies. It is about the main findings of an immersion in the self-publishing on line platform Wattpad, a community that encompasses authorial works characterized by electronic elements. For that purpose, we dealt with the writings of Anna Todd, an American wattpader responsible for signing the books that make up the saga After, a great success in cyberspace and even beyond the virtual limits, since her works also appear in printed books as graphic novels and at the movie theaters. Having this premise as a starting point, we aimed at elucidating the context of her works as well as the particularities which characterize her creative process of textual construction. In this context, some relevant theoretical criticism by scholars who contribute to the intersection between Literature and Digital Culture such as Franco Moretti, Anne Jamison, Henry Jenkins, among others, were selected in order to accomplish the intended goal. In general, we concluded that the detachment related to the selected object of analysis takes place when it is necessary for a meaningful understanding to the practice of electronic literature seen at the digital culture of present time. |

Center for Research in Computing, Literature, and Linguistics (NuPILL)2023-08-22info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/textodigital/article/view/9384710.5007/1807-9288.2023.e93847Texto Digital; Vol. 19 No. 1 (2023): Leitura distante: métodos digitais e análise literária; 72-107Texto Digital; Vol. 19 No 1 (2023): Leitura distante: métodos digitais e análise literária; 72-107Texto Digital; v. 19 n. 1 (2023): Leitura distante: métodos digitais e análise literária; 72-1071807-9288reponame:Texto digitalinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)instacron:UFSCporhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/textodigital/article/view/93847/54012Copyright (c) 2023 Jennifer da Silva Gramiani Celeste, Rogério de Souza Sérgio Ferreirahttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessda Silva Gramiani Celeste, Jenniferde Souza Sérgio Ferreira, Rogério2023-08-22T15:54:23Zoai:periodicos.ufsc.br:article/93847Revistahttp://www.periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/textodigitalPUBhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/textodigital/oaitextodigital@cce.ufsc.br1807-92881807-9288opendoar:2023-08-22T15:54:23Texto digital - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)false |
