The manufacturing docile bodies in the Brazilian post-graduation: scene in the academic productivism

Resumo: | http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/1518-2924.2017v22n49p75It deals with the banal productivism that took possession of minds and bodies in the Brazilian graduate. To address the issue, appealed to the theoretical concepts of Michel Foucault is one of the great French intellectuals who devoted himself to studies related to knowledge, power and ethics, questioning the roles played by different social institutions in bodies of disciplining those who they were placed in these places by imposing standards of conduct. The objective of this work is to show how each of disciplining techniques of bodies worked in Foucault's perspective, confirms to the emergence of distortions, including ethics, in the construction and dissemination of scientific knowledge process. To achieve this goal developed a bibliographical and exploratory research, associating the cloistered techniques quadriculamento, time control, normalizing sanction, exercise and take to the academic-scientific practices experienced by teachers and students in the Brazilian graduate. The results showed, among other things, that there is still a strong predominance of punitive evaluation at the expense of training when assessing the performance of the bodies in graduate programs. Finally, closes the article in the hope of contributing to broaden discussions about the current movement of manufacturing docile bodies in Brazilian graduate, helping to encourage academics to think new escape routes that make the most creative graduate, innovative and ethical, allowing bodies that it operates live life as a true work of art, that is, without the need to practice intellectual impostures as a form of academic survival. |

Para abordar o tema, recorreu-se às concepções teóricas de Michel Foucault que é um dos grandes intelectuais franceses que se dedicou aos estudos relacionados ao saber, ao poder e à ética, questionando os papéis desempenhados por diferentes instituições sociais na disciplinarização dos corpos daqueles que eram colocados nesses lugares por meio da imposição de padrões de conduta. O objetivo deste trabalho consiste em mostrar como cada uma das técnicas de disciplinarização dos corpos, trabalhadas na perspectiva foucaultiana, corrobora para o surgimento de distorções, inclusive éticas, no processo de construção e difusão de conhecimentos científicos. Para atingir a este objetivo desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica e exploratória, associando-se às técnicas de clausura, quadriculamento, controle do tempo, sanção normatizadora, exercício e exame às práticas acadêmico-científicas vivenciadas pelos docentes e discentes na pós-graduação brasileira. Os resultados revelaram, dentre outros aspectos, que ainda há um forte predomínio da avaliação punitiva em detrimento da formativa no momento da apreciação do desempenho dos corpos nos programas de pós-graduação.
