Competitive Intelligence and Knowledge Management Practices in the Context of Management and Information Science: revelations of scientific production

Resumo: The process of competitive intelligence has awakened glances of professionals to recognize that organizations compete with greater efficiency when their managers take fundamental decisions. This research aims to analyze the scientific production in competitive intelligence aiming to identify the practices knowledge management presented in the results of articles from the Annals of ENANCIB and ANANPAD, during the period from 2010 to 2012. Methodologically is considered exploratory research, descriptive and documentary; theorical, conceptual and procedure inductive. As the results highlight that the works relate in a balanced way in relation to the number of publications, authors more present in citations, techniques and adopted methods. The practice of knowledge management are present in the results of published articles about competitive intelligence in two events, evidenced by people as an integral part of the processes, with similarities between the approaches in the Science of Administration and in Information Science.

Esta pesquisa objetiva analisar a produção científica em inteligência competitiva visando identificar as práticas de gestão do conhecimento apresentadas nos resultados dos artigos dos Anais do ENANCIB e do ENANPAD, no período de 2010 a 2012. Metodologicamente é considerada pesquisa exploratória, descritiva e documental; de natureza teórica conceitual e procedimento indutivo. Como resultados, se destacam que os trabalhos incidem de forma equilibrada em relação ao número de publicações, autores mais presentes nas citações, técnicas e métodos adotados.
