The use of the school library as an integral part of the active ethodologies in the teaching and learning process: national overview

Resumo: | This study was based on the premise that it is possible to establish a dialogue between library, teaching and learning, considering that they are complementary parts. Objetivo: The objective of this article was to map scientific works that demonstrated how Brazilian libraries were integrated into the use of active methodologies in the teaching and learning process. Methods: The method used was bibliographical research with a qualitative approach, in the light of Content Analysis. Results:The results demonstrated that combining the library with active learning methodologies contributes to integrated training, guided by the student's autonomy and protagonism in the construction of their knowledge and suggest that interconnecting the library with educational practice requires, above all, a dialogue between the library, teaching staff and pedagogical team. Conclusions: It is expected to contribute to the construction of new meanings for the school library, which explore its full educational potential. It is concluded that the school library relates to the teaching and learning process in a tense way, but that there is a dialogue being built slowly, towards aligning its function with pedagogical proposals that aim for a more integrative training of the student. |

Objetivo: O objetivo deste artigo foi mapear trabalhos científicos que demonstraram como se deu a integração das bibliotecas brasileiras no uso das metodologias ativas no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Método: O método utilizado foi a pesquisa bibliográfica com abordagem qualitativa, à luz da Análise do Conteúdo. Resultado: Os resultados demonstraram que aliar a biblioteca às metodologias de aprendizagem ativa contribuem para uma formação integrada, pautada pela autonomia e protagonismo do estudante na construção do seu conhecimento e sugerem que fazer a interlocução da biblioteca com a prática educativa, requer sobretudo, um diálogo entre a biblioteca, o corpo docente e a equipe pedagógica. Conclusões: Espera-se contribuir para a construção de novos sentidos para a biblioteca escolar, que explorem todo seu potencial formativo.
