Games and play: education mediated by information and comunication technologies

Resumo: The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in education are justified to the extent that they can provide conditions that enhance learning. The studies that support this premise are mostly directed toward the end of Primary and Secondary Education. Thus, this study aimed to verify changes in the teaching process of Physical Education contents in the initial years of Elementary Education with the use of ICT. For this, a didactic unit was implemented on popular and traditional games for two classes of the third year, where one of them was used ICT and for the other it was not. Class registration was done through a field diary. The results culminated in four categories of analysis, being: a) organization of teaching work; b) limitations of ICT in class; c) the potential of ICT in class; d) ICT in the teaching of Physical Education from the perspective of the teacher.

Los estudios que fundamentan esta premisa están mayoritariamente dirigidos al final de la Enseñanza Fundamental y Medio. Así, este estudio objetivó verificar alteraciones en el proceso de enseñanza de contenidos de la Educación Física en los años iniciales de la Enseñanza Fundamental con el uso de las TIC. Para ello se implementó una unidad didáctica sobre juegos populares y tradicionales para dos grupos del tercer año, donde para una de ellas se utilizaron las TIC y para la otra no. El registro de las clases se hizo por medio de diario de campo. Los resultados culminaron en cuatro categorías de análisis, siendo ellas: a) organización del trabajo docente; b) limitaciones de las TIC en las clases; c) el potencial de las TIC en las clases; d) las TIC en la enseñanza de la Educación Física en la perspectiva del profesor.As Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC) na educação se justificam na medida em que podem propiciar condições que potencializem as aprendizagens. Os estudos que embasam esta premissa estão majoritariamente direcionados ao final do Ensino Fundamental e Médio. Assim, este estudo objetivou verificar alterações no processo de ensino de conteúdos da Educação Física nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental com o uso das TIC. Para isso foi implementada uma unidade didática sobre jogos populares e tradicionais para duas turmas do terceiro ano, onde para uma delas foram usadas as TIC e para a outra não. O registro das aulas foi feito por meio de diário de campo.
