Resumo: When the International Olympic Cometee (IOC) first created a Medical Comission to evaluate the presence of enhancing-permance drugs for athletesin the Olympic Games of 1960, the dopping had not the dimension verified today. Genetic and technologicaldopings, for example, are already realities. This study is aimed to identify and discuss the narratives about doping of the sports section in Revista Veja from january of 1999 to january of 2009. It was verified that the doping is up to an emblematic theme because it explicits relations between political, economics and scientific interests, through ruptures with moral procedures socially constituted.

São realidades, por exemplo, o doping genético e tecnológico. Este estudo objetivou identificar e discutir narrativas sobre o doping nas seções de esporte da Revista Veja no decênio de janeiro de 1999 a janeiro de 2009.
