Resumo: The study discusses the public policies of sport in the State of Para. The objective was to analyze what dimensions of sport are prioritized in the policies of sport in the state government. In this paper, the years 2012 and 2013 were analyzed, in accordance with PPA, early years of management the government of Simão Jatene (2011-2014), period that precedes preparation in the country of sports mega-events, such as the 2014 World Cup and the Olympics in 2016. Methodologically, it is documentary research with analysis of documents like PPA, LOA, and Message to ALEPA. The results suggest a budget execution limiter element for what government called sport for social inclusion, because it presented a higher budget allocation for dimension of high income. Moreover, these indicate a policy aligned to sports field of conservative nature, which serves as a priority sport of representation of government, with emphasis on major sports events.

El objetivo fue analizar cuáles son dimensiones del deporte priorizadas en políticas de deporte en gobierno estadal. Para este artículo fueron analizados los años de 2012 y 2013, de acuerdo con PPA, años iniciales de gestión del gobierno de Simão Jatene (2011 - 2014), periodo que antecede la preparación en el país de los mega eventos deportivos, como Mundial de 2014 y las olimpiadas de 2016. Metodológicamente, es una investigación documental, con análisis de documentos como PPA, LOA, Mensaje a ALEPA. Los resultados sugieren una ejecución de presupuesto a fin de limitar que gobierno llamaba de deporte para inclusión social, pues se presentó una destinación de presupuesto más grande para dimensión de alto rendimiento. E indican política alineada al campo deportivo de naturaleza conservadora, que atiende como prioridad deporte de representación del gobierno, destacando a grandes eventos deportivos.O estudo trata sobre as políticas públicas de esporte no estado do Pará. O objetivo foi analisar as dimensões do esporte priorizadas nas políticas de esporte no governo estadual. Para este artigo foram analisados os anos de 2012 e 2013, de acordo com PPA, anos iniciais da gestão do governo de Simão Jatene (gestão 2011-2014), período que antecede a preparação no país dos megaeventos esportivos, como a Copa do Mundo 2014 e as Olimpíadas de 2016. Metodologicamente, é uma pesquisa documental, com análise dos documentos como PPA, LOA e Mensagem à ALEPA. Os resultados apontam uma execução orçamentária como elemento limitador para o que o governo chamava de esporte para inclusão social, pois apresentou maior destinação orçamentária à dimensão do alto rendimento.
