Resumo: The new coronavirus pandemic opens up the consequences of the economic, political, health, environmental and civilization crisis resulting  from the capitalist development mode. Such contradictions expose even more children and women to conditions of vulnerability and violation of rights. The suspension of presential classes, remote work or maintenance of presential work, as well as unemployment and economic instability, caused an increase in domestic violence. The Movement of Landless Rural Workers in Brazil, seeks to face these circumstances through the production of healthy food and solidarity, expressed in the donation of food to populations threatened by the virus and hunger. The promotion of culture, literature and the playing of landless children, persist as a way of actively resisting and hoping in the middle of the pandemic, combined with the dispute over the meaning of education, in opposing the commercialisation and emptying of the training process of the working class.
