Resumo: | This article seeks to contribute to the understanding of the kindergarten teachers’ professional development processes. The investigation aimed to know the relevance of the theoretical approach of multimodality in the curricular model (re)construction of a kindergarten teacher and to understand the process inherent to this professional development. The investigation assumed a self-supervised modality, using self-study as a methodological approach. The collected data, of a qualitative nature, were submitted to content analysis, which showed not only the dimensions of the curricular model reconstructed in the light of the theoretical approach, but also highlighted aspects of the process of this reconstruction. These conclusions, as well as the main limitations of the study, are discussed. |

A investigação visou conhecer a relevância da abordagem teórica da multimodalidade na (re)construção do modelo curricular de uma educadora de infância e compreender o processo inerente a esse desenvolvimento profissional. A investigação assumiu a modalidade autossupervisiva, utilizando o auto-estudo como abordagem metodológica. Os dados recolhidos, de natureza qualitativa, foram submetidos a análise de conteúdo, que evidenciou não só as dimensões do modelo curricular reconstruídas à luz da abordagem teórica, como também aspetos destacados do processo dessa reconstrução.
