Resumo: | This article analyzed the historical and pedagogical context of the school inclusion of these children in the municipal school system of Maceió/AL, based on a mapping of who these children are and where they are. The exploratory-descriptive qualitative research was used as a methodological approach, based on bibliographical and documentary research, complemented by semi-structured interviews with 4 teachers and 2 managers from two Early Childhood Education institutions with the largest number of children enrolled. The voices of the interviewed professionals were organized into two categories: school inclusion and inclusive pedagogical practice. The results allowed us to understand that school inclusion is made up of challenges. The silencing and subjection of these children break with the idea of subjects of rights and reveal the face of an adult-centric early childhood education, which works with a parallel curriculum, needs the etiology and diagnosis of SCZ to act and, sees disability as a limitation or disease. |
