Resumo: | Studies about the Brazilian rock and roll in the 1980’s have been attractingattention in the academic context. Several researchers, mostly influenced bythe perspectives of cultural studies, intend to interpret this historical momentby investigating the attitude of rock and roll artists towards a world in constanttransformations. Due to a variety of thematic possibilities, the forms that rockand roll groups approached the subject of this work were given attention. Indeed,it was chosen five songs from different artists and groups, thereby aiming toconfront the central theme of this proposal. |

Assim, vários pesquisadores, em sua maioria, inclinados com as perspectivas dos estudos culturais, procuram interpretar tal momento histórico, investigando as formas nas quais os artistas de rock se colocaram perante a um mundo em constantes transformações. Diante de inúmeras possibilidades temáticas, chamou a atenção da presente pesquisa as formas nas quais os grupos de rock abordaram em suas obras a temática do trabalho.
