Resumo: | In this article, I propose to think the English language, its teaching and the formation of the English teacher, taking into account as discussions about neoliberalism and its effects on life in society. For that, I start from different ways of understanding themselves as neoliberal practices, trying to discuss how these can take different contours in the different contexts, even though sharing common characteristics. I emphasize, in particular, the Brazilian context. In this, he examines and discusses the Pibid, especially the case of a subproject of English in the context of a Brazilian federal public university, and points out aspects that they consider relevant as problematized when we consider English teachers, both formators and in initial formation. |

For that, I start from different ways of understanding themselves as neoliberal practices, trying to discuss how these can take different contours in the different contexts, even though sharing common characteristics. Para tanto, parto de diferentes formas de se entender as práticas neoliberais, buscando discutir como estas podem tomar diferentes contornos nos diversos contextos, ainda que compartilhando características comuns. Destaco, em especial, o contexto brasileiro. Neste, examino e discuto o Pibid, em especial o caso de um subprojeto de Inglês no contexto de uma universidade pública federal brasileira, e aponto aspectos que considero relevantes serem problematizados quando consideramos professores de inglês, tanto formadores quanto em formação inicial.UFSC2018-09-03info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionPesquisa Empírica de Campo; Entrevistaapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/desterro/article/view/2175-8026.2018v71n3p3910.5007/2175-8026.2018v71n3p39Ilha do Desterro A Journal of English Language, Literatures in English and Cultural Studies; Vol. 71 No. 3 (2018); 39-58Ilha do Desterro A Journal of English Language, Literatures in English and Cultural Studies; v. 71 n. 3 (2018); 39-582175-80260101-4846reponame:Ilha do Desterroinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)instacron:UFSCporhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/desterro/article/view/2175-8026.2018v71n3p39/37251Copyright (c) 2018 Ana Karina de Oliveira Nascimentoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessNascimento, Ana Karina de Oliveira2018-09-20T16:48:17Zoai:periodicos.ufsc.br:article/54024Revistahttp://www.periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/desterroPUBhttps://periodicos.ufsc.br/index.php/desterro/oaiilha@cce.ufsc.br||corseuil@cce.ufsc.br||ilhadodesterro@gmail.com2175-80260101-4846opendoar:2018-09-20T16:48:17Ilha do Desterro - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC)false |
